My most recent picture or portrait I sketched for a lady locally came out pretty well. Although I have done several portraits in my life time most I gave away many years back; so, these most recent efforts are special since I have them recorded here in my blog.
My work on my other efforts is going pretty well too; but, I have yet to amass the number of works I'd hoped for by this time. Right now for our next show I have just 36 framed sketches I can display for those who might be interested. Most of them are of tall ships; but a few are of other subjects like deer, people, and such.
I've purchased some new supplies that'll allow me to venture into the arena of Acrylics +/or Oil painting. I cannot wait to see how one of my tall ships might look done on a large canvas. Now that summer vacation is about to begin my intention is to spend every hour I can creating as many works as I can possibly get done. My time is short and I have a lot I want to accomplish while the Lord allows and I just cannot waste time like I have in the past.
