Jean & I took a nice walk this afternoon out and about to Bergman Park and home again, around a 2 mile hike altogether I figure.  I dressed up warm enough that I was okay, but I did cover my face to prewarm the air so my heart wouldn't be stressed.  I'm not too sure about how well I can handle breathing in the cold air; so, I'm just being careful.  Come this winter I am hoping I'll be able to do a little shoveling again, but again I don't know if I'm allowed or not.  I'll need to talk to my doctor first and see what he says.

I have been working out quite abit with my Health Fitness machine in hopes of building myself up more.  I want to get in shape like Les Brown is, being able to do over a hundred push-ups.  I've never done more than 20, so if I can get to that point I'll be doing really well.

My hope is to get my body in good shape again so I'll be more likely to be around for my wife, to be able to work hard, and Lord willing get us out of the debt we find ourselves in.  How I'll accomplish this is still in question, but I know if I put my mind to it, work hard, and don't give up I will accomplish this task.

The work I'm doing in the Public Schools with kids is going okay.  I'm trying to work on teaching them Positive Motivation type lessons, much like I've learned from Les Brown, but I'm still not that well versed at it.  But, if I keep working at it I believe I'll develop my own style, my own story, and be able to make more of a difference with the young people I work with.  That's my goal and where it might lead me I just don't know right now.  I hope for all that I work with to impart to them the understanding that they have Greatness within them and that they can accomplish great things with their lives if they are persistent and have the understanding that giving up is not an option.  They can achieve anything they put their minds to if they just stay focused and keep moving forward.
